Open Access Policies

The authors who publish in Sustainable Housing and Communities accept the following conditions:

In accordance with the copyright legislation, Sustainable Housing and Communities recognizes and respects the moral right of the authors, as well as the ownership of the patrimonial right, which will be transferred to the University of Guadalajara for its dissemination in open access.

Sustainable Housing and Communities does NOT charge authors for submitting and processing articles for publication.

The authors may make other independent and additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the article published in Sustainable Housing and Communities (for example, include it in an institutional repository or make it known in other paper or electronic media) provided that State clearly and explicitly that the work was first published in Sustainable Housing and Communities.

For all of the above, the authors must send the letter-transfer of ownership of the rights of the first publication, duly completed and signed by the authors. This format must be sent in PDF file to the email: revista.lnvcs@gmail.com

Readers / users of Sustainable Housing and Communities can directly access the content freely and for free when a new issue is placed on the platform. The reader / user is allowed to quote, share (electronically and physically), print and distribute the material provided that it is clearly and explicitly indicated that the work was first published in Sustainable Housing and Communities. The work must be cited correctly and it must not be used for commercial purposes.

Only the reproduction of images of the publication (covers and logos) requires permission from the University of Guadalajara.
