Self-Archiving Policy

Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables permits and actively encourages the self-archiving of published works. Authors retain the copyright to their work and may deposit and disseminate different versions of their manuscripts in institutional, disciplinary, or personal repositories, academic websites, researcher profiles, and scholarly social networks, provided that the original publication in the journal is properly acknowledged.

The journal permits the deposit of the following manuscript versions:

  • Preprint: The version of the manuscript before peer review.

  • Postprint (Accepted Manuscript): The version accepted for publication after peer review but prior to copyediting and typesetting.

  • Version of Record (VoR): The final published version edited and formatted by the journal.

No embargo period applies to the deposit or dissemination of any of these versions. Authors are requested to cite the complete bibliographic reference to the published article, including its DOI and the official URL of the journal.

The journal promotes open access and the broad dissemination of scientific knowledge in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
