Retraction and Corrections Policy

The journal Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables is committed to the integrity and reliability of the scientific record. This policy applies to both manuscripts currently under editorial review and articles that have already been published.

When errors, omissions, or situations compromising the validity or ethics of a publication are detected, the journal may issue corrections, clarifications, or retractions in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Retraction may be considered in cases of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, undeclared conflicts of interest, manipulation of the peer-review process, or any other practice that compromises scientific integrity. Retracted articles will remain available on the journal's website—clearly identified as such—to preserve the transparency and integrity of the scholarly record.

Authors will be kept informed throughout the process and will have the right to submit relevant clarifications.
