Editorial Team Responsibilities

Editorial Committe

The Editorial Committee is responsible for ensuring the scientific quality, thematic diversity, and editorial integrity of the journal, as well as overseeing compliance with its editorial policies. Its responsibilities include establishing editorial criteria, selecting peer reviewers, and appointing members of the Editorial Board.

The Editorial Committee is composed of researchers representing the regional branches of the National Laboratory of Housing and Sustainable Communities (SECIHTI), including the University of Guadalajara, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Autonomous University of Chiapas, the University of Sonora, and the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez.

Editorial Board

The Editorial Board consists of nationally and internationally recognized scholars with distinguished academic careers and extensive experience in research, teaching, and scholarly publishing. Board members support the journal through peer review, editorial advisory activities, and the promotion and dissemination of the journal's published content.

Internationalization of the Editorial Board

Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables has an Editorial Board composed of distinguished scholars from institutions in several countries, reflecting the journal's international scope and fostering diversity of perspectives, academic collaboration, and global scientific exchange.

The members of the Editorial Board have outstanding scientific and academic careers. The Board includes distinguished researchers recognized by the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNII) at Level III and Emeritus status, as well as scholars holding equivalent distinctions at leading international institutions.
