Mujeres en la ciencia
Abstract
En esta edición la revista Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables, presenta la sección: “Las mujeres en la Ciencia”; con el propósito de contribuir a visibilizar la investigación científica realizada por mujeres en los campos del territorio, la vivienda y el hábitat sustentable. A través del desarrollo de los cinco artículos que le componen, aborda como eje articulador la producción del hábitat desde una perspectiva social; misma que prioriza el beneficio común sobre el interés particular haciendo referencia a los procesos intencionados de configuración y creación de condiciones de habitabilidad en territorios específicos, en los que participan diferentes agentes y se involucra de manera particular y privilegiada a los habitantes. A partir de este planteamiento se desarrolla el ejercicio de producción en el espacio y del espacio mismo en el diario vivir de los habitantes, desde una perspectiva de justicia social y de equilibrio con el medio ambiente.
