The objective of the research is to explain the patterns of daily mobility or commuting, shaped by the characteristics of labor and student mobility in the Metropolitan Area of Toluca and the municipalities that make up the Central Region of Mexico, corresponding to the entities of: Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Morelos, Puebla, Queretaro, Tlaxcala and Mexico City. For this purpose, a methodology is proposed that allows us to quantify this behavior in a clear and simple manner, replicable in the different metropolitan areas of our country. In relation to the results obtained, a greater number of movements of attraction compared to those of population outflows can be distinguished, making evident the need for public policies on education and employment, aimed at improving their accessibility.Metrics
